Duramold 2 cast aluminum mold plate is available up to 31” in thickness and features increased hardness, strength and high temperature performance. It’s superior mechanical properties are consistent throughout the material’s cross section. Duramold 2 is porosity free, highly machinable and exhibits a fine uniform grain structure. Homogenized and stress relieved, it is dimensionally stable; Duramold 2 is weldable, please contact us for recommended welding guidelines.
