K100-S is a 5000 series cast aluminum tooling plate perfect for applications where precise thickness tolerances and consistently tight flatness are critical. The chemistry is very corrosion resistant, yields exceptional results when anodized and has superb weldability. The mill’s proprietary vertical casting technology yields a porosity free, highly dimensionally stable plate; it’s hardness and mechanical properties are consistent throughout the material thickness.
